Other available software:

* SpeakLetter: Type a letter on the keyboard and Pippy will pronounce it for you. She can say the vowels too. Great for young children learning the alphabet and the computer keyboard!

 

* Graph: A polynomial graphing program that graphs functions up to the third order. Just enter the coefficients. Can draw and save multiple graph funtions in multi-colors that overlap. Great for doing Algebra homework or just having some fun!

 

* SpeedTrivia: A trivia game with 1000 questions. Levels can be completed in any order. Up to 4 letter hints provided for each question.

 

* Timer: A simple timer for the desktop. Can count up or down. Timer digits show in the taskbar for easy viewing when other windows are open.

 

* "To-Do List" Calendar: A split window application with calendar on one side and text area on the other, which shows messages entered for the selected date. Defaults to current date at startup and retrieves info previously entered for that date. Auto-saves all messages when closed.

 

* Check Register: Simple register for keeping track of bank transactions. Give it a starting balance, type in the transactions, and it does the math for you. Pages are printable for your records. Could replace expensive "Quicken"- type software if someone only wants the basic check register functionality.
